Changing FPSB's Flawed Assessments

Well, this site doesn't have the same sort of assessment system as FPSB, so I've voiced some complaints over the flawed FPSB assessment system over the past few days. That site gives mappers for TF2 a pretty bad name, IMO. I'm sure many of you notice how horrible maps are rated with 9 or 10 over there... so I've come up with a way to help change that.

Post if you have any feelings about it, maybe the coder guru there will listen.

Stealing ideas from Shmitz since 2008 *

Actually, your idea was the final straw in which I decided to bring it to the source. Thank you sir.

I've created a "rating account" without any of my works, now I can rate all the maps IMHO without scaring about other people rating mines.

As you know I've posted my thoughts there. But I will probably stfu now :) As I'm not making maps I don't have to deal with "retaliation" and am really only after the principle of community. Anonymity really hinders that IMO, but I can also understand where you are coming from.

I wish they would weight the top maps formula better, or just list them based on downloads as tf2maps does. Not that that solves everything, but it's a better solution than what's in place right now, and is easier than coming up with a properly weighted formula. FPSB makes my eyes bleed anyway
