overlay resizing

I was looking at 2_fort and the capture zone has these hazard overlays surrounding it, specifically the black stripes on yellow. They are large overlays , stretched beyond what normally is given when i drop an overlay in, but the image printed on it is not stretched or warped but repeated it seems to me. I am wondering if anyone knows how to do this as in repeating something an overlay displays without warping it when the overlay is enlarged.

You can also manually control how many times the texture repeats length and width wise by going to the overlay's properties and adjusting U/V start and end. 0-1 is one iteration of the texture.

awesome, thank you. One more question. If i have 2 overlays overlapping, is there a way to dictate which one is shown above the other?

The "render order" keyvalue in the overlays. its pretty self explanitory.

in Valve maps (atleast the one's I have looked at) these are actually func_details built into the ground
