You should be able to trigger the animations using a Trigger_multiple I believe.

You can also use this trigger to enable or disable a brush or entity; maybe there is some use for this in attempting to make it heal the way you want. Personally, I think having ammo issued is not a big problem, but it is easily remedied by using health packs. Perhaps creating a prefab of the health packs as described above, and forcing them to respawn with the trigger.

Ok here it is.

Thanks a bunch to everybody that was helpful. This is my first custom model for and Source game. I know there are a few areas where I could improve but I wanted to get this done before I started work on Monday.

This is the readme:
Code:

To use simply copy the "tf" folder over to your 'tf" folder.
In hammer insert a "prop_dynamic" entity.
Select "ambulance.mdl" as your model.
Change the "name" of it to "ambulance_prop"
Draw a brush that will be the trigger to activate the doors and healing.
Cover the brush with the 'trigger' texture.
CTRL+T to tie it to a func_regenerate.
Change the target to "ambulance_prop"
Set your settings.
Run map.

You will be seeing this in my maps in the future. It will work as an outdoor resupply locker.

I really don't see what's wrong with getting ammo from an ambulance, after all it's a video game right?

This is... so awesome. I just wish I could fit it somewhere in my map, but I don't think it would work out :) Anyway, great, great work.

Amazing man. What would we do without you? Probably die from no health, thats what!

Wow I just realized how lame that sounded....

epic.

I'd gather some ideas then start a poll for a few days and model the winner of the poll, after all theres no point modeling something people don't want (unless you want it yourself)

I think I'd request some more industrial machinery

Way to go Oxy. It really looks great. If I can figure out a way to get it into my next map I will.

As for youme's suggestion, I know Jive Turkey is much more into modeling than mapping. He has and is making some custom models for cp_2Skyscraper.

Just wondering if anybody has decided to use this.

Well I haven't yet, but I was wondering if you'd be adverse to me using this as a Payload? Now, obviously the Ambulance doesn't have animation for the wheels, so I can't use it like that...

Hmm, you should work on a version of this where it doesn't have a back but on the inside is a big Payload and a Dispenser.

Great work man, truly impresive and reading trough the comments has helped me a great deal.

I`m not planning on using it on my current project, but it`s definately bookmarked for a future one.

Yeah, same for me. This model is definitely on my radar for inclusion in a future project. Yes! That's right, I actually do map, even though I've never shown anything.
