Hola.

I've been working on this map since May 2009 and never really had time to post it anywhere outside of my local gaming community. So at last, I'm posting here for feedback, critizism, and the whole nine yards so I can improve it with more opinions from a wider community.

The map's name is Energy and its an attack and defend CTF map. It's not quite your normal attack and defend CTF map, however. Rather than featuring multiple flags and capture areas, Energy is a single-flag single-capture map. The goal is simple, get in, pick up the flag, and return it to the designated "capture point".

To continue the precendent, RED plays defense and BLU is tasked with offense. RED is given a 60-second setup period prior to each round. RED must defend the flag until time expires after ten minutes. Overtime will trigger if the flag has been dropped and will continue until the flag returns to its spawnpoint. On a win (via RED outlasting the clock or BLU capturing) teams are switched.

Storywise, Energy is a facility located in an desert wasteland. The facility was leased to Reliable Excavation and Demolition who immediately began developing their lands; and to Builder's League United to didn't immediately show interest in their plot.

RED quickly began using their newly-acquired territory for research and development in the field of alternate energies. A rumor began circulating that they had developed an astounding breakthrough. The higher-ups of BLU eventually find out and want the blueprints to this energy so they can have it for themselves. The blueprints are found within the intelligence briefcase which the teams fight over.

Well after six months of development (and one version of the map thrown in the trash heap), Energy is approaching a Beta 3 release. This time I have removed the CTF A/D gamemode in favor of the standard CTF, which is less confusing to newbies and veterans in general.

I'll be posting some new screenshots once I finally compile the map, but I would like to thank you guys for help, especially the Train tutorial which helped get it running.
