kk, so i thought i might as well release these few models i did for the cpoint-contest, since i won't have any further use of it probably :D

The face window frame thing was heavily inspired by the austin powers dr. evil underwater base scene seen here:

The rocks were created some time ago using playmobil aquatic scenery toys as a reference. In my mind i was always figuring that the underwater theme in tf2 should have its own stylized rocks as almost every other tf2 theme does. the grate was just modeled to replace some textured grate-walkway, so it's very specific in size, but maybe someone can put it to use :)

The round frame can and should probably combined with one of the glass materials in tf2, so you can have some nice seethrough effects :)

Anyways, that's it for now..

I really liked your rocks, and your windows with rounded corners (were they models or just brushwork?)

the rounded windows were actually just a recycle (90° rotated) from my "porthole models":

ah, but now you said it, i made them thicker and duplicated them, so you could use them from both sides. maybe i shall upload them again in the updated way ?
Cause i learned quite some stuff concerning "modeling props, so mappers can actually use them" within the contest. was sometimes just plain awful to move them and adjust the brushwork accordingly :D

The rocks remind me of quarry from Modern Warfare 2, the windows, situational (especially the Austin Inspired one) but still very cool. Great job Acumen!

it could be neat if you made a bunch of walkway pieces that could be assembled into whatever configuration people need.
