What are some good standards for size in a TF2 map?

So, I have this problem where I keep making my maps too small - even with a PlayerStart as a guide.
I'm getting better through practice, but right now I'm only testing maps for myself in alpha stages and I realise that having a corridor only wide enough to clear one person is a bad idea in TF2.
I have a reference in my bookmarks for actual heights of entities (teleports, a crouch-jump etc) but what I'd like to know is if there are some good, well-used measurements - even rough, ballpark figures - for basic things like "a small room", "a medium room", "hallway width", "roof heights in a clearing", etc.
If any of you have found some nice benchmark figures that work, please share them as it would save me a lot of heartache.

No, but it helps you understand how large players actually are in TF2 as compared to hammer sizes.

I was having a shocker before. One of my first attempts had corridors that were so low down that once I put in some prop lights, they disallowed you from walking through them. Ditto ramps that led up to the roof, so high up you had to crouch walk. It was a real mess.
I think I'm mostly afraid of making rooms that are too big, which is a reflex as some of the Quake maps my friends and I made back in the old days were unplayably gigantic before we got it right. Seems like I'm overcompensating the other way now.

For ceiling height minimum id ever go is 128 but try to keep higher, minimum width almost always 96. Wider the less explosive spam there will be

After some experimentation, I kind of got some of my own measurements:

Ceiling height(indoor): 128 - 192 in increments of 16, 256-512 in increments of 128.
Door width: 96-192 in increments of 16, 256
Walkway: 128
Hall width: 128-192 in increments of 16, 256.
Wall width: 8 or 16 units

Hope those were useful, when in doubt stick to multiples of 8 or 16 above 128.
