Some people have been asking and I know more will be so I'll just explain here.

The reduction of testing days per week is due to the staff and having to host/upload/etc, it was getting a little heavy on us being 4 out of 7 days.

The longer resubmission wait is because of the reduced amount, it's still four sessions but they are spread out more. Trying to make sure different people can get testing even if it means waiting a little more.

Which is also the reason for the no-update rule. A while ago we removed reservations because hardly anyone had a chance to get in, but it has been like that again, with what seems like half the maps updating again before the test turning it into a pseudo-reservation.

Now you should be submitting a map when it's ready and the threads will be open further before the date, hopefully making things a bit more fair.
I'll open the first of the four when I wake up tomorrow, and the other three on each consecutive day after that. Then they'll be a rolling cycle as the old ones drop out.

Do make sure you read the dates on the threads before submitting, since they'll be all out of order.

and lastly, with all these "slower" changes, don't forget you can get testing on our servers outside of official test days by taking advantage of donator privileges and talking with people in the chat room. (I'll be making a permanent info/reminder thread about this shortly)

to keep the threads from becoming out of order, rename them with the date at the beginning.

example:
12/12/09 - Map Testing - Saturday 12 - U.S. Server

or something of the sort, just to keep the confusion down. ;)

Generally posts are sorted by last post date, not title.
