Sketchup and textures?

Well i guess being as this is about modelling it would probably go here.

Anyway im starting work on modeling as i'd find it quite useful for my maps as then i know certainly it'll get done but just for an example i'll show this.

My model in sketchup (have exported as smd and turned into a mdl).



My model now in hammer:



How would i go about exporting textures from sketchup or just about texturing this model? Can anybody help me?

Ok although i don't beleive so as it is not about mapping but modelling.

Ok but there is no point in creating a new thread.
