Well, this is my second attempt at a map....

It's (I think) one of the first desert themed CTF maps.

I'm basically going for a sort of, ASSAULT THE ENEMY'S DEFENSES TO GET THE INTEL!

Obviously, you can tell it's not done, but I am currently working on finishing the "Blu Base". Tell me what you think.

Go here for the sky list on the VDC, so you can set up your light_env and env_sun and what have you. You can also go here for a .vmf made by ravidge that has all the current skyboxes and their respective lights.

In the future, try releasing your map after it is 80%-100%, with all the construction done and maybe some entities that need putting in.

Yeah, sorry, I get too giddy around the time I finish the spawn rooms, I'll keep this updated though.

ALSO: I'm still waiting on a reply in my help thread, but there is supposed to be a big Blu logo on the spawn wall thing.

From what I can see, it's looking quite nice. The only thing that I have a problem with is the open spawn area; try making it in a closed room to prevent spawnraping.

Player Clip to prevent overhealed demos and wall-climbing soldiers, and invisible wall to prevent stickies and pipe bombs and others.

Also(Added to the changelog as well): Adding texture to the ground(Like bumps and shizzle)

Either you havn't put in a light_environment or you've left it at "0 0 0" IE your sunlight is being cast sideways and thus preventing anything from being fully/properly illuminated. try a range of -30 -70. But check the VDC link that absurdistof gave for complimentary skybox lighting angles.

-90 casts light downwards
