Somewhere in the American Southwest, a once thriving oil field has been divvied up and sold to two separate holding companies. Though the oil supply is gone, the chance of competition never left the area. Thus, in a flash of fury, the old rail system used for moving oil has been converted into a hellish deathmatch.

Rattlesnake is a Payload Tag map. Two carts race around a single track in the same direction. The first team to smash their payload into the enemy's goes home the winner.

I'm loving the idea, but there's a high possibility that this will never end. I hope the map has lots of shortcuts across. Just a note on the 5th screenshot, the really long staircase looks kind of awkward. Maybe adding a platform in the middle could fix that?

Surely having an objective for both teams on other sides of the map is a bad idea?

The map looks pretty cool, although I'm not really sure what the huge spawn room space is for, but if it works it works :).

Also, I have to agree with Seba on the fact that this could take a while. I would try and find a way so that the carts could catch up to each other. Perhaps have a CP in the middle, and whoever controls it gets a cart speed boost. Good luck on a hud for this btw :D

The spawn space is a buffer between the trainstation and the actual spawn, so that the teams have a chance of making it through eventually. There are planned speed boosts, but at fixed locations. That and rollback will make it easier to catch up to the enemy cart. The HUD will be the typical PLR HUD, but synced around the same track. Thanks for your feedback!

I foresee Custom Oil Drill Carts. This is an awesome Idea, and I really hope it works. Can't wait to playtest!
