A somewhat crazy, cross-game idea

Now I know that this has very little to do with tf2 specifically, but it has a lot to do with hammer. Recently a friend of mine showed me nexuiz, and I noticed the lack of good custom maps, despite the fact that it had one of the best free-form movement systems since N. I noticed that the maps were bsp files, and that got me thinking. They also use info_player_start, and one could create the other corresponding entities, so would it be possibly to make nexuiz maps in hammer? And more importantly, what features would work and which wouldn't? I don't plan to use tf2 content btw, so I'll keep it legal.

Yeah because like games like half life or team fortress classic use info_player_start but they cant be made into newer engine maps.
