A trend experiment

In the Chat room today, someone brought up The Political Compass. While I didn't particularly care about the politics involved, the trends made me curious.

So I want to do a little experiment here. I'll come up with a couple of survey-esque things and I'd like people to fill them out and post the results here along with a little info.

If you don't want to post part of the information, that's ok.

We'll start with The Political Compass: http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Take the test (If you'd be so kind) and then post back the results in this format:

Age:
Location: (Eg. New York, USA)
Religion: (Jewish/Atheist/etc)
Household's Religion: (Eg. You're an atheist but your house hold might be christian)
Environment: (Loose example, eg: Grew up in a poor area and then moved, or extreme right-wing christian area, etc)
Results:

I'll gather the data in a while and see if there's any trend.

Here's my results:
Age: 16
Location: CA, USA
Religion: Athiest
Household's Religion: Non-practicing
Environment: Average/Unknown
Results:
1zd6t8z.jpg

AGAIN. I'm less concerned about the actual data or who's stuff lies where, but more in the trends. I (and others) won't think any less of you if you post something off from everyone else's.

Anyone else notice alot of "bad" questions?
Like the annoyingly use of "all" and "some" that seem to logically push in one direction
As an example the question "Should a country sometimes defy international law?" I am certain that at some point in the past or future it will be advisable to do such a thing, but you can tell that they will label you as republican if you agree <_<

VAT SICK MAN SENDS BABIES TO TAKE SURVEYS AGAINST ME!? :p I'm curious what happens when you follow the money for whomever developed the questions. ("Defies" rather than "ignores", for example.)

I remember seeing a few others, especially ones pushed by libertarians at college where oddly enough most people who take them land in the "libertarian" zone. Coincidence? :O

Let's just remember that from context to context, labels like "Libertarian" (or the others) differ from place to place, at least as much as--and often moreso--than labels like "Christian" or "Gamer". It's entirely possible for someone to feel that "True X-ism" is actually the province of "Party Y" because Party X doesn't really follow X, etc.

The lack of a no preference/unknown bothered me too.

That's why I was more curious about the trends than the actual data/political parties.

It also doesn't distinguish if the "international law" is one which your own country has or has not endorsed in the past.

Their site states the test is built and configured for residents of the US.

I actually AM conservative. The only issue that really matters to me is that I'm sick of the government giving handouts to people who blame society for their problems whilst not even TRYING to make their own lives better. All of that, at the expense of people who WORK for their money.

2 things:

1. I know that is a pretty big generalization.
2. I'm not mad at Penguin, and he didn't prompt this. I just felt like throwing that out there.

Why would I think you're mad at me? This is the kind of thinking I advocate.
