This is my first map that I'm seriously making and testing. It plays well but the main problem is the small corridors which I'm already increasing in size for beta 5.

Woah, I also love that stump-point! :D Looking like this is off to a pretty sweet start, I'll be interested to see how the 3:3 breakdown plays as opposed to the 2:2:2.

Only thing I can say at this point is that some of the upper areas look like they'll be needing some more prop cover - long sightlines potentially abound.

After the game day, well I'm sure you got / will have lots of feedback on suggestions for the 2nd and 3rd point.

My 2 cents,

Please make that door on the left a LOT clearer that it's basically a wall...

The clipping for this step really really bugged me. I rubbed against it to try and test and you must have tried to just make a really steep clip? I would suggest moving the platform up one step worth, as you can see the bottom steps can go back one to fit another step up.

Just registered to comment on this map, hi guys :)

Downloaded and had a look, really loving it so far. Like how you've made the points open without them being dominated by a sniper.

Just one thing I didn't like was the insta-kill section near the 2nd point. In general I would stay away from this because, especially in a competitive environment (not sure if this is what you're aiming at), you're going to be focusing on the enemy more than you are on the bits around the point so I can imagine many people accidentally falling into it. Sure it'd be funny for a little, but after a while it'll just make the map annoying to play. I like how it pulls you away though- maybe keep that and make it take you to another area or something?

Anyway, looking great :)

Anyway, yeah - most everything got said during the playtest that I wanted to say, but to reiterate:

-Many paths towards the 2nd and particularly the 3rd point feel constricted, widen them or remove some obstructions (the left-side path to point 3 was really awkward, I felt, with that jiggy-jog you have to make around the wall - maybe cut the wall out and add a 2-way grate if you're worried about sightlines).

-The water shute will be an AWESOME alt route to point 3 - but maybe block it off before point 2 is capped so people don't accidentally wind up back there (dunno, maybe that wouldn't be a big problem)

All in all, off to an awesome start!
