Yep, I've made up my mind. I don't have enough money to buy L4D2 so I'm getting Halo 2. I'm not getting it for the single-player which I personally think sucks. I had so Much fun playing split-screen multi-player with my brother that it seems like a good buy for the multi-player.

This also Means I'll temporarily abandon TF2 for a few weeks. Wish me luck! :D

Please please PLEASE do not do that. L4D2 will give you far more replay value, and will be a much better game. Hold out a few more weeks, even month for the better game!

1. I will need to save up 50 dollars. (which will take a couple months)
2. I will then need to purchase a 50 dollar prepaid gift card (My parents are paranoid about using credit cards online) which will cost me an extra 5 dollars. By that time the game won't be on prepurchase sale and will be a full 50 dollars. Since steam has a 1 dollar tax I will need to get a 100 dollar card which may take me another couple months time.

The only way I could possibly have it soon would be if someone bought it for me. But it's a full 50 bucks which is probably too much.

If your money situation is tight, I'd focus on games with very strong multi-player, since you can stretch the fun out of that a lot longer.

But that's why I'm getting Halo 2, to play split screen Multiplayer and Coop with my brother and possibly make an [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_Live"]Xbox Live[/ame] account in the future to play with more people.

Unless there's a split screen multiplayer game I can play with my brother for the Xbox or PS2 that's better than Halo 2 (please mention)

First off don't get me wrong, I own all of the Halo games (minus ODST, which I will never play). I wasn't hating on the series, I'm just saying L4D2 will be FAR more worth your money. Maybe even get L4D1!

Btw, I meant L4D2 on PC, which I assumed you were talking about. If you meant on Xbox, go with Gears of War like zpqrei recommended. But if you're only playing on Xbox, go out and rent a few games and see what you have the most fun with. You could do far better than Halo 2 :)
