Updated to b2

Only bug fixes.
-Bad displacements
-Bad cubemap reflections
-Clipping
-Building teleporters to detail areas.
-Other small stuff


I consider this map pretty much done, I just want to stay in beta so I can find every single bug before moving on. Please report anything you find (clipping for example) no matter how small (annoying solid wall props).

This is a side effect of me doing mass replace of dev textures to nodraw :S
Thanks for finding it.

Also there seemed to be a problem with custom model textures. Which is odd because they are clearly there in the bsp file. Expect another bug fix update soon, so If you found anything else that was broken/odd, be sure to post it or I won't know about it (and that makes me sad)

Oh yeah, I had to say this is my favourite ctf -map out there, and I absolutely love the moving cart too. Brilliant!

Very fun map. Great work!

Only bug I encountered was people being able to get behind the fences along the side-route leading out to the middle. (It was the darkish area with a rock ceiling that curved downwards.)

I thought that was intentional, since there is a kill trigger at the bottom.

I saw some random Scout standing on the ledge behind the fence. I assume this isn't intentional. :p

I played this last night. First impressions, this is .. ok. But that's just because it's not fully detailed. But after a while it started to become really fun once i learned my way around. :D

That sound great!
But what do you mean it's not fully detailed? Because in my eyes it is.. :unsure:
Could you give some examples of where you think I need to spice it up a little?

Edit: I am trying to keep a pretty clean environment. But if there are some naked walls that stand out, I can fix that. But I won't go around adding another layer of detailing to the entire map... I'm trying to learn how to not overdetail everything I make :p

Currently my only problem with map is that the middle seems to small.

Look at a map like ctf_turbine and you'll notice there's quite a lot of room for players to move around in a middle fight, yet it doesn't take long to get to the center if you currently have enough players stationed there.

I'm not sure if you can make the area any bigger this late in development but if you could make it closer to scale with ctf_turbine, that would make it great.

Turbine is horrible. System has a nice interesting middle with 2 levels of play which overlap each other. What's not to like?
