This is a KoTH edit of my old map [ame="http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8451"]CTF Warehouse - TF2Maps.net[/ame]

Please tell me what you think or what i could add/change!

Note: Some of the screenshots are from the CTF version but it's all the same

Looks nice for a first release, but there are a few things i noted: your floor texture on the second pic isnt really a floor, but a wall texture. The warehouse looks a bit strange with a red and a blu side, i think texturing it in a neutral color would look better.

You should really have a version at the end of your map name, the name without version is usually used for the final version, and if you want to update your map, you need to give the file another name.

It looks a bit dark outside of the spotlights in my opinion. I think you're trying to attract attention to the important areas (e.g. the point, the exits), but it really needs some more playtesting to see if it works or more lighting is required elsewhere.

Looks very nice for a first release, plenty of space to move around the point, good flanking positions - Should work well! Just add more screenshots :D

I wouldn't see that a problem: it looks clean, something floory, plus, just for a reference, Turbine uses a wall texture in floors ;)

I think the map name warehouse which has been used before was in a different game

Warehouse has been used as a name by like a million beginner made TF2 maps. No one takes any thought with these things. Always *_warehouse or *_industrial or something else just as (not)imaginative.

I was acctually useing Turbine as my reference since i'm pretty new to SDK and Turbine isn't too complex in its design :)

It looks good though, and the original was pretty fun to play, albeit a bit short.

I don't even know why you brought this up, as it seems as this is completely unnecessary. But, anyways: I didn't say Turbine is the perfect example of a map, but just something I noticed a couple of days ago (yes, I am a bit slow on these things - I mean, noticing stuff :rolleyes:) that Turbine uses a wall texture in it's floors (intel room).

And I have to agree with the name: this is probably the most unoriginal name ever, probably tons of maps with the name.
