Well, who would even read those pages so long after the update? :p

Seriously, I think hardly anyone would notice, if they just put those pages offline.

I don't think they forgot, it's just not something you would change. It would be like going back through a changelog and altering all the references to a feature you've since changed. A lot of things in the update pages have been changed and the pages remain original.

It's more of a hype page than an actual list of information anyaway. The info is in the update logs, which should be enough.

I agree with Boojum.

That page was released as "correct at time of production", or whatever the correct phrase is lol. But when they updated features in updates, they post the updates / correction in the TF2 update news, which can be found by right clicking on TF2 in your "Games" tab in steam and selecting "View update news".

I don't see why you'd expect those pages to be updated months after release, when the pages launched at release aren't accurate (cough sandman health negation cough)

The productivity of going back and changing the update page is almost 0, simply because Valve releases update info along with the steam updates which can be seen by right clicking on Team Fortress 2 and "View update news".

But yeah, i rather see valve working on fixing gameplay issues, working on new maps, improving the game, class updates than taking time to change something that really doesnt need changing.

Next you'll start complaining that an old article from the New York Times has the wrong person listed as President...
