What exactly IS that light problem? the light coming through the door?
You have two options, the light can come through the door always, or the light can stop at the door, always.
You usually choose the first as it usually looks better.
How to achieve the second:
Make a brush the same size as the door, make it thinner than the door itself though, then texture it with the blocklight texture. 'problem' solved
