Volt takes place in a secret and far away power plant installation. Blu and Red are both fighting for control of the main control panels (middle point) to activate something, just not sure what.

Anyway, looks nice from the screenshots it's just the cp seems cluttered with props compared to the rest of the map.

thanks :)

these are new additions from feedback from the playtest that the mid was a little too open. im going to try and give some cover with props before i make any larger changes.

This map looks nice for a first, keep working on it. Personally, I would prefer to have the CP area with the neutral coloured dev texture - but seeing as it would be changed later it doesn't matter....and you're site staff so I won't argue :D

the engineer has some shenanigans afoot at this power plant. it warps space and time.

Sounded like a power-plant to me.

Anyway, I would suggest removing the barrels at the central point as it does look like a crammed area. I assume this will be done in the Hydro theme?

My other fear is that the layout might be a little confusing.. because by the looks of those screenshots, there seems to be quite a few paths leading off in different directions. Maybe it's just me though.

I could get on top of the building outside Blu spawn and stand on the edge. Other than that, it was a very fun KOTH map (one of my favourites so far :)), although the control point was quite easy to spam due to all the stuff there is to bounce grenades off of/explode rockets on.

May I suggest making it so you can tell the bases apart? Make BLU team's base blue walls, neutral reflectivity, and RED team's base red walls. Floor can be grey.

changed the mid to provide cover and avoid spam.
properly color matched red vs blue areas.
clipped stairs + doors.

Ive fixed "most" of the stuff you mentioned. the jump in to spawn thing was just something i overlooked. there's supposed to be a ramp there :p
