Lumber

Hello everyone.

This is my first post on these forums, and this is my first map I have ever made.

It's just a simple capture the flag map with a train that runs through the middle.
Winning the round detonates the other team's bomb stash in the intel room.

It has been play tested a few times, and I am now working on detailing it a little bit.

Thanks for looking.

I'm pretty sure there was a map named timber, but I haven't seen it for a long time.

Just one thing... on the 4th screenshot, shouldn't the ropes be tight?

Other than that it looks great, nice layout, nice sounding name.. Apart from the missing cubemaps, which is fine with such an early version.

Looking forward to the release!

Have more then a bridge to cross. Bridge only is part of reason why 2fort is a joke. Path below bridge is not good enough to only have 2 paths.

Is that last picture of the map from the bottom looking up? I don't think that one is necessary ...

Yeah, I agree the map started off pretty good. Definitely add another way to get across, if not another bridge or two then maybe a couple of high catwalks that cross each on the sides or just widen the bridge a lot so that it's not so chokey.

The interior is hard to get a grasp of from the screens, but I do like the exterior so far. The double waterfall is very pleasant to look at. :)

Hello, after a playtest I have decided to rebuild both team's bases.
It is now totally different from what it was before.
I have added new pictures and a download link.

I also changed the name to ctf_lumber, but I guess the thread title still says Timber. Hopefully that can be changed...

Thanks for looking.

Oh wow, I like the look of this. That (new, I guess?) interior layout looks pretty great!
