Hello everybody, I just wanted to post my currently WIP map called "ctf_delivery", which is a reversed CTF.

I started drawing the layout in Photoshop about a week ago and put it up at the Control Point Community - forum link. Where I got a lot of positive feedback. Now I've decided to show it to you guys too, so I get even more feedback.

For those who dont know what reversed CTF means, I'll explain how it would work;
The Cap Points would be placed at the other teams base, behind the Intel but infront of the respawn rooms.
The Intel would be placed inside each teams base (I think).
By trying to score in the enemies base would make this map fun (I hope) since you need both defending and attacking forces.

It looks very good! I can't wait to see it when you're done texturing.

Seems like a fun gametype, I'll definitely be watching this map.

Thank you. I am working on the textures right now, hopefully it will look much better.

I hope this WILL be a fun gameplay & map to play, that's what I'm aiming at.

(Remember, it's a Work In Progress, lightning are just there to brighten the rooms. They will be better looking later on. :))

I have always wanted to do something like this, has always sounded like fun.
But the only thing that ever stopped me from enacting on such an idea was that
people might not realize that they have to get the intel into the enemy base.

I hope your map is fun, its a concept that I really like.

Oh and a suggestion, it would be cool if the enemy base blew up or got gased when you cap it.

at the request of some of my servers regular players,i took a somewhat popular ctf map and made it reverse ctf(simple editing with EntEd),when the intel is picked up a message is scrolled across the screen "take intel to enemy base capture point" everyone seems to know what to do and everyone likes the different concept.
