Soundscapes, need help.

I was wondering, how do I make soundscapes. In the valve wiki it mentioned something about editing a text file and such but I still don't really follow.

So could anyone tell me, how do I make soundscapes? Is there anywhere I can find a tutorial on the subject?

You can look at how Valve does it. Get into the Team Fortress 2 content.gcf and click on the scripts folder then scroll down until you find the soundscapes.txt and extract that file to see how its done. If you are just wondering how to place them or what files to use, open up a valve map to see how they are used or look at the names used in the soundscapes files in that gcf.
