This is cp_arrowhead. It is a Gravel Pit style map with an alpine storm setting. It is my first serious map, and after a lot of work I am almost ready to release the alpha version the public. There have been many rounds of orange testing before this, but I have saved its unveiling on tf2maps.net until the alpha, which is coming soon.

Blue begins in an old logging train station, and makes their way through Arrowhead mountain, a stormy mountain peak riddled with intertwining caves, cliffs, and a logging train which circles the battlegrounds.

Point A is the most open of the 3. It features a river stemming from a waterfall and a series of caves in the cliffside. As you can see from the screen caps, there is more than meets the eye to the waterfall.

Point B Is more compressed making it harder to defend for long range classes. A train stop is located at B, but there is also a junction which rogue mine carts use to travel through the map. So while the mine cart tracks may be an advantageous place to attack from, don't get too comfortable, the mine carts are coming fast and they're gonna hurt.

Point C Features an outpost over a river. Through A you reach a house with one way doors, serving as a base for blue. On the otherside, blue infiltrates a section of Red's base giving access to a sniper deck.

Anyways, I am working hard to get this map out as soon as possible, stay tuned.

Looks very nice! Bit of a shame you couldn't provide us with lovely rendered in-game shots, because I think it would make your map stand out even more :)

I like the name and the look of these screenshots - Should play nicely. Playtest it sometime and try to update your map accordingly. [TIP] Ingame screenshots look so much better than Hammer shots.

Yea sorry about no in-game shots, I haven't done any lighting or particle effects so it won't look that much better honestly. I want to make sure the product I have is well balanced before I go into lighting and effects, so I am holding off on that until alpha testing is over.
