    I do not know if it works with the gift, I don't think so, though. Put headless_hatman in 'Entity to spawn' in the entity_spawn_manager. Although both the point and manager aren't actually in Hammer, so you'll have to add the values manually. Look at the cp_manor_event to see how Valve does it.

    Yup. I did it and I got the G0red achievement I didn't have. And the great thing was that when I spawned him I hadn't generated the nav so he just sat there while I killed him. :p

    This works perfectly. And you can get the achievements and everything with it. I also put the holiday entity, which probably made the achievements possible, but I don't know exactly.

    I've made non orange maps, and there isn't a very different amount of work required, it just depends on the map.

    I disagree. I've put a lot of effort into orange maps before. And yes, I do like sightlines. I strongly dislike Valve's maps because they have very little places for snipers. Personally, this map has less places for snipers than my maps usually do.

    Elevator Physics

    Try trigger_pushes instead of elevators. They tend to work fairly well, and you can disable one and enable another or change the direction or whatever.
