I finally installed mastercomfig's maxperformance integrated GPU CFG. All the textures look Minecrafty, but TF2 runs smooth as butter now!
The Steam TF2 forums are nuts right now, even more stupid than they usually are. Every time I return, I re-remember why I stopped visiting..
I have too many downloaded maps. When I type "maps" into the console, my game literally lags for a couple seconds as it loads the map list.
