It's easy to be discouraged when people point out flaws in your work - especially when you're a beginner - but please bear in mind that everyone is trying to help you improve. Whether or not the feedback you receive is harsh, you need to take it on board and apply it to future projects. Giving up isn't gonna get you anywhere.

We'd be very sad to see you go - it wasn't my intention to be nasty. You're doing some very cool and complex things in hammer, but you need to learn more about how a level is designed.
