I love the look of this map
The only possible problem may be that it is too open like one of my maps was. Apparently, it can cause lag or something. I might be wrong though...
Open areas give snipers an advantage if you don't break up the sightlines. Also, the intel room is very large, so it will probably be very easy to defend.
The download link isn't there, is the map not done for a1?
Well I made the intel room big so 1 sentry could not cover all of it and there are three entrances to the intel room. when i release the alpha you will have to decide.
Yeah, the intel room looks fine. It's the exterior that worries me; it's clear that Snipers will have a fine-old-time waltzing around on the deck while everyone cowers in the water below. I have a CTF map where, in the first beta, despite even putting up walls between the bases, Snipers still found a way to get into a position that looked over the fence. Sneaky birds, those Snipers.
I really like the look of this map. Are you making custom models for this? I seem to see a bunch of shiny, thick tori (what's the plural of torus, I wonder?) inside and outside. I'm hoping they're not brush geometry, but I guess it wouldn't really matter if they were.
