Okay, as my space map is starting to close up, as a majority of the map is inside an asteroid, comet, moon? I know the skybox must be viewable for all open area, but what of my interior, do I concern myself with a skybox... (this is for model checking)

In most cases you won't need to enclose an already-enclosed space with skybox brushes. In fact such behaviour is encouraged, since it'll make optimising your map so much easier. If you want the sky to be visible through windows and holes, just place one skybox brush in said gap and it'll give the illusion of the sky being visible. (This is how Gorge does the skylight over the last point, among other examples.)

I was just curious if a skybox sheet would have been needed in a enclosed space
