Large copying?

Hi, I am new to hammer so please bear with me.

I am creating my first large scale map (KOTH) and I am finding myself at a stage that the blu side is complete. I attempt to copy copy the whole side of the map, but Hammer crashes (and rightly so.) Is there any way I can copy the whole finished half of my map to the opposite? Thanks!

You could try copying your map in smaller sections to keep Hammer from trying to do too much at once. You should also take advantage of visgroups while copying, which will help with selecting particular parts of your map one at a time.

In your case, you can select a portion, move it to a visgroup, then copy and paste it. Hide the visgroup once you're done, and repeat. This will keep you from copying anything twice.
