Does anyone know how to fix the weird random boxy shadow above the arch?

Unfortunately that's a potato quality image of low quality settings on TF2, it's hard to tell what's actually going on.

Looks like the lightmap scale is really low and you've got a strong spotlight over those windows? Or are they dynamic props for some crazy reason and are those dynamic shadows??

Basically: Is the black bit above the arch a dynamic shadow or a lightmap shadow?

I think that arch is a prop. Try going into its properties and disabling shadows.

It's actually a common beginner mistake:
You have been using prop_dynamic for EVERY prop in your map. This is unoptimized as hell.
You should use prop_static when ever possible.

I'm suprised nobody else noticed that since the windows and the lamp have dynamic shadows as well

Changing it to prop static worked! I was told in a tutorial that a majority of my props would be prop_dynamic_override :p

YM noticed that.
