Hammer Problems Part Deux

So I'm working on another map to test myself. (Still new to mapmaking. Have the theory down, focusing on lighting atm)

In my last post, I had some problems with the map not compiling. Was directed to Interlopers.net, fixed the problem from there. Fixed shortly thereafter.

Working on a new map. Still nothing serious (yet). I'm trying to compile, and I notice it runs another map under a similar name. (Named this Test 1, runs a REALLY early (like 6 months ago) map called Test (where I tested water, spawns, resupply and stairs (REALLY early)))

I went over to interlopers and tried to figure out what was wrong. Found a few leaks, patched them up, can't find any more. One error stayed there, and I have NO idea what it is or means. Here it is:

Can't load skybox file skybox/sky_tf2_04 to build the default cubemap!

Description:
You have entered a skybox texture which doesn't seem to be valid. Make sure you don't specify the last three letter (_UP, _DN, etc) of any skybox texture you use. You may also need to fix your vmt files if they are broken. It may also be caused by compiling a non-HDR skybox texture.

Any help?

If it ain't broke, don't fix.
In other words, if it doesn't affect anything, don't try to fix it.
That's the error everyone gets, just means you have to build cubemaps manually.

Well my main problem is it won't compile. It won't run the regular version of the map. I know that's because something is wrong, so it panics. Normally there's an old version of the map to revert to, but this is a special case, so it goes for the next best thing.

Also, that didn't work for me D:

I have no idea what's wrong except for the skybox error.
Name mismatch? Perhaps you could explain a bit more clearer.

So of course I'm new to hammer. When I first started I was just naming files randomly. (Still do that, this was sort of an attempt at actually categorizing my lessons) I named a file Test. This was like 2nd map EVER, no goal system, nothing. A spawn for both teams, team specific resupply cabinets, some water, a platform with all of this, a skybox, and stairs from the bottom of the skybox back up to the platform. This was called Test.

I'm now trying to focus on some of the aesthetics of TF2. I made a small map, nothing to good or labour intensive, and named it Test 1. I added some lighting, and am playing around. Upon trying to launch this map, it opened up this stupid little test world.

I did what you suggested and added some cubemaps. It still opens up this test world. Anything other info that would help you?

Also I'm wondering if the skybox error IS the problem we're thinking of?
