Assuming that you know what the delete key does, are you just trying to open up the bsp itself in hammer? Because that won't work. You need to decompile the map first. And even then, it's bad form to go mucking around in someone else's map without their permission.

Yes I did decompile the map, and when I deleted what looked to be the control point and ran the map it just froze. Also it's not like I'm going to upload it somewhere else, I just want a special version for my server

You can use Stripper Source to target all team_control_point entities and disable them using a cfg named the same as the map with this inside.

you shouldn't delete your thread... otherwise the community here would waste their time answering the same question. someone may be trying to do what you are and would find this thread in a search result. your question and the answers offered to them may help others, you never know.
