It seems that when I host a server and choose my custom map, all of those who connect get this error roughly 80% of the time.

-It's only 2 mb in size, so it doesn't exceed the limit of 16,
-I also did sv_allowdownload.
-AND ports 27000-27020 are forwarded.
-The map name changes constantly, so there are no name conflicts either.

What I want to know is will my map work on a dedicated server, Because this map is planned to be added to one.

And, can I fix this, I need this map to be tested constantly.

This is usually caused by the people trying to connect already having a copy of the map with the same name in their maps folder, but it doesn't match the Map ID of the map on the server. This can be fixed by having them delete that map from their folder and redownload it. Also, make sure the map uses different names when you release a version (eg. _a1, _b1, _rc1, _final1) to avoid files from clashing.

Thank you micnax, However I know that this is not the case either, I already do as you suggested, since we all know that hammer tends to crash or pakrat stops working suddenly.

For example, a buddy of mine connected while I was running version a61, since that didn't work I added version a62... same thing.

It could be plain old download failures. Are you using a http offload or that Valve custom direct from server setup?

I am using the default direct server setup.

Would this problem be fixed if I used the Source Dedicated Server do you think?

I don't think you are getting what I am talking about. I am talking about letting the download happen over http from a different server.
