Hi there. I'm having problems with Vis leafs (vvis) taking forever to compile/crashing (yes it does crash its not loading) and I made sure every odd brush was func_detail so is there anyway I can fix/see the problem? I also checked out Interlopers.net for a tutorial on how to do this but it didn't help. I've been able to temporarily fix the by turning the map into a prefab then starting a new map and then compiling it. Thanks to anyone who can give me a good response on this.

Just post the vmf so that someone can have a look at your mess.

I'm not uploading it and giving it to friend to play with him. I am not going to release this map.

Hey man, be sure that this comunity is way more "professional" than you tend to think, nobody give a fuck of your map because :

1 - You map is probably awfull since you are posting for a visleaves problem.
2 - Everyone here who leave you some solutions are also probably better than you and don't need to stole the work of another man to do a map.

So stop to be awkward and post your map here, you don't have anything to loose, really.

EDIT: Oh didn't see the last post btw, it's cool that you have found the problem by yourself.

To be 100%, Visleafs can be tricky especially if you have funky geometry. Some early rust versions had vis problems that took me a few days to solve, was rust awful? Not really.

Please be a little nicer next time when newer people post problems.
