Not to be rude, but is there a reason I would post this other than to find out how to remove it? It doesn't really seem like the kind of thing one would show off. And if I said what I tried to do to fix it, wouldn't that imply it's a problem in the first place? Not only that, but I describe it as an issue twice, and issues are normally negative in terms of creating something.
Anyway, yes: I don't know how it got there and I don't know how to remove it.
It doesn't disappear when BLU caps, no.
It wasn't clear if you wanted it there or not, or if you wanted it there some of the time or none of the time, or if you wanted it to be seen by one team only or if you wanted it to be visible on both sides or how you'd got it there (Things don't appear on their own)
Pointing at something and saying it's an issue doesn't tell us anything about what your issue is (for the above uncertainties)
I wasn't trying to be obtuse, I was trying to diagnose the problem so I could offer proper help.
Now that I know you don't want it there at all:
Swapping a model shouldn't have put it there unless it's in the model which would be shown by the model browser. If you haven't checked that, check there. (It might be some trickery in the model that isn't in it's mesh, so does it appear when you change the model back to a normal cap point?)
So what did you
do when you made that point, are you using some kind of prefab? Boojum's? A decompiled map? From scratch?
My guess is that it's not the capture point at all and there is some other entity creating it, can't really suggest anything until you find what is causing it.
