Anyways, I love to medigun, but I cant help but feel that the medic should have 6 hands to hold it...

Yeah district 9's stuff looks far more vicious than this though. I'll admit that I was thinking of district 9 and that coil gun video when I was doing the thumbs with the angled canisters

Just my opinion, but those canisters should be positioned less perfectly. Maybe have one bent out more than another like it got grabbed or picked up wrong, and maybe only have 2 on one side. having 4 looks... cumbersome for the medic, and too complicated/sophisticated for a TF2 weapon.

Looking good so far. Are the tanks at the bottom going to remain opaque or will they have something in them? I was thinking it'd be nice if they acted as a charge gauge, with all four filling concurrently as you charge your uber up.

Also not 100% sold on the hand-guard as it is at the moment.

I need to work out how to make them look decent. they were a pretty quick model + texture so redoing them isnt too much of a problem.

I wanted to learn subdivision to bake the normal map, which I learnt sucessfully, but now I think I could do it loads better if I did it again.

Gotta look like so:

I think I'll rely on normal map waaay less and model in all the detail, will probably be quicker and easier.

You should put some dirt on them, and on the bottom as well, since Medic is running around in battle with them a lot :p

Get rid of the stripe through the middle, I can't really think of a way to make that look good - it's generally better if things stay simple, especially since most people are accustomed to shoe covers that look a little more like

Very nice, just make sure the Medigun's rear end doesn't look too much like the stock Medigun.

Dont you remember the developer commentaries? The feet are supposed to be the darekest part of the player model.

Nice backpack though.

I don't remember all of them. I'll see if I can find that one, you know where it was?

i totally love the backpack modeling so far. hope you make it really round ! especially loving that biig huge transparent...um...thing
the medicgun doesn't click for me, yet. seems a bit too technical and futuristic for my taste.
