im making my first map and everything was going along fine, was very statisfied by the work i did, everything compiled fine and all, but after i did some more work and tried to compile it, it to this "PortalFlow" compiling stage in vvis that it just never stops and never completes, even though my map is super small (about 1.5 times bigger than the water pool under the bridge of ctf_2fort)

some one told me that it has something to do with "VisLeafs" and gave me a link about these things but couldnt understand anything.

this is really frustrating when its my first map thats not even done!

Help is very appreciated.

Ok, when you did some more work, you probably added some kind of complicated object(s) like a cylinder, stairs or anything with quirky angles. You need to find these objects, select them and press Ctrl + T and make them func_details.

Check the valve wiki entry for func_detail and the optimisation section of the mapper's resources sticky from this forum here.
