So, I toyed around with this idea in tf2maps chat, and I've fleshed it out a bit to a prototype
Overview
WAR is a TF2 server plugin that puts a location and a result to each battle. Normally, TF2 maps just run aimlessly in a cycle, achieving nothing. WAR looks to resolve this by giving each map a static location, and determining which maps are played based on which team owns them, and who won.
In a more simple sense, you can think of it like TC, except instead of capping the little mini stages in Hydro, you're playing full maps as each of your stages.
To reduce map redundancy, most maps are connected via several links, and the available links are chosen randomly if multiple targets are possible. (ie if BLU wins, and there are two linked RED maps to that map, it'll choose one at random so you don't find yourself pushing back and forth over the same map over and over)
Prototype

What I'm looking for is feedback on the gameplay and concept. the artwork and plugin are fairly hastily put together for testing, they're not meant to be final and will be improved; assuming there's any merit at all to the idea.
