Another egypt map, this time I want to try a 3cp map.

Still a few things to fix. Long pathways in places, ammo/health placements, cubemaps etc (Possibly some missing textures-they are only dev)

Please post comments/questions/suggestions etc.

I like the layout, it feels de_dust2-ish.
to fix the weird purple boxes on the cap, put an env_cubemap on it

also, did you use Rexy's rocks? I havn't seen those before.

I know about the cubemaps, its in the list of things to do :)

And the rocks are not custom, not unless I downlaoded them without realising :p

Dood, koobmaps are a must. I'm pretty positive that nobody will download your map without them.

I don't really care, I doubt anyone would download and play it AND like it anyway :(

But really, the cubemaps are affecting 3 models and everyone suddenly thinks their in hell.

Also, in light of the name, you should have a custom "Sphinx" prop somewhere in the map. :O

he dose, it's not a prop, but a whole bunch of brushes. look in the over view in the top left.

Hah, I just noticed. For some reason I didn't even look at that, it looks like a big ol' lego sphinx.

But considering the size and use, I bet brushes are better anyways. :p

I was tempted to model it in parts, but even that failed. I may stick to modeling just the head.

And as for the cubemaps this isn't raelly a release I expect anyone to want to play let alone actualy play :p
