Hello everybody. I've been lurking around TF2Maps for a while and thought I should register.

I'm a software architect, gamer, and wannabe mapper. I'm now on my 5th attempt at a 1st map, and this time I think I'll actually get it finished. Hopefully I'll be able to pick some brains around here and find out why it's a crappy map.

I go by [PALS] THE KRAKEN on Steam and usually play Sniper, Engineer, Medic, Soldier, Pyro, Demo, Scout, Heavy, or Spy.

My favorite community maps are Egypt (cool theme, fun map), Cashworks (a work of art as far as I'm concerned) and more recently HAARP.

I enjoy Pepsi, the Internet, and headshots.

Software Architect, in case that wasn't clear. I don't want to pretend I have any idea how to design buildings.

Yes. It's kind of a fuzzy term, but it generally refers to someone who makes design, architecture, and coordination decisions on software projects. In my case I'm also a full-time programmer, so it's a combination architect/developer position. I just finished spending 5 years and $50,000 on my CS degree, so I wanted a fancy title.
