Spiral 7.3

A window is gone for now due to lighting errors, also fixed some clips and a missing overlay.
After being stumped for a while, I've gotten the out of bounds areas to look pretty nice. I also changed the skybox and made it brighter. If I'm not feeling too lazy, I'll update the screenshots to show that.

Now all this map needs is a 3d skybox and some polish. If you're lucky I'll finish this by the end of the year.

  • Armor pickups are pulled from the latest version of the "zoo."
  • Minor changes to out of bounds (again).
    • I've decided to scrap all the displacements and start again, they're a pain to work with.
Fixed the red armor being an error and made some minor additions out of bounds. Oh yeah, the armors should now also float of the ground but that's from the game getting updated. It was supposed to be like that for a while.
I shifted the lights around and made another spot way too dark, fixed now.
Lowered the ceiling in the medium medkit room, increased megahealth respawn time to 35 seconds, and brightened up the area around mega.
There are still some rough edges, but since it's mostly done, and I haven't updated in ages, I've decided to release the second artpass a bit early.

The map is now set at night, and the music has changed to set the mood better.

There have been some small adjustments to some areas that I've most likely forgotten by now. They were probably done for the sake of symmetry or making some bizarre-chitecture make a little more sense. It should play about the same though.
Got the first art pass done. The walls are bit bland so far, but I like the way it turned out.

Changes:
  • The two mini staircases in the thin hallway have been replaced with a bigger one that's easier to navigate.
  • A few lights have been added.
  • Got everything textured, it looks much prettier now.
  • Some funny details have been added that I hope you'll find.
    • Some barrels have been put in the corners of the nukage, they shouldn't get in the way of normal play though.
  • A new skybox and new lighting from Mercenary Park.
  • The triggers and clipping around the horizontal jump pad have been tweaked. It should feel about the same though.
