What will NOT be accepted: Etc. (The second one could, for example, be turned into a detailed guard shack, which would be acceptable). Buildings like this will be warned, and if no action is taken removed. Second off: There will be a town square. The contents of it will be undecided, but it will have a spot for spawn, and a gathering place such as a fountain/etc. There will be a message board somewhere. Third: Mobs will not be allowed within the walls of the town. There may be some sort of physical wall, but monsters will be prohibited from spawning inside the town. Fourth: You will NOT be able to dig or build freely in the town. If you wish to build a building, you can claim a plot and build something in the build-box that fits in those dimensions. If it's deemed good enough, it'll be moved into town. Fifth: Outside of town is the wilderness. You'll be able to build whatever you want here (out of visible range of the town). Note that block pillars aren't acceptable out here, and will be removed and I'll probably yell at you or something. (This is a basic no pillars/swasticas/phallic objects/etc thing) Sixth: If someone wishes to set up a second town (Eg; like Riverside is now, etc) then you can talk to me and we can set up a second town with established transport between them. On another note: Which walkway style is best? (Three wide, two wide, or one wide), and which 'outlet' design is the best? (Fence posts sticking out or not). Also person who designs the town's light fixtures wins a cookie. I want the light fixtures consistent throughout the town's paths. This is just a general idea for 1.8, opinions are welcome.
