I have never finished a map or even got it into a beta state. And just because I feel like any attempt at making an update will result in failure or just overall unwillingness to continue. I am usually the most stubborn person around but I just can't manage a map update. And its really sad since I really want to see myself create an actual fun map.

Anybody else had this problem?

There are times where I think my maps are going nowhere, but you need to remind yourself that creating a map is like throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks, I see a cool concept? build on it and move stuff around based on demos and feedback, if you try to fix something and it doesn't work that just means you have to find something else to throw at that something, and if it sticks? keep it, that's all the advice I can give and yes I have had that problem before.

I mean, really though, you don't have to like and stick with *every* map you make. If you aren't feeling a current map, it's completely fine to start a new one! The best way to get better is to practice, of course! If you keep mapping and practicing, eventually you're going to get something you like, and your skill will improve greatly along the way
