updated to a hdr-less rc1.
Tested it yesterday on our server. Didnt find any bug so far.
This map is tits and you deserve so much oral sex for making it.
Edit: I volunteer Rexy for the delivery.
What happened here?
I really like this map too. But the only gripe I have with it is the health packs and metal. I think you could add a couple more, especially a large one somewhere near the middle of the tracks. A lot of them are kinda hard to find, and pretty inconvenient for a medic (like the ones going up t o the little tower over looking the track.)
And there just isn't enough metal on map over all as well. Other than that, everything is great!
Can't even believe that this map is two years old already.
Anyway, between then and now the RC1 version has racked up 1000 plays and in honor of that I'm releasing an update. I've improved lighting in some dark spots, widened the warehouse and some other places, fixed up the announcer and updated the cappoint plate, among other things. I also wanted to make an arena version, but arena entities and payload entities didn't want to be friends and I didn't want to release a version of this map where people can get stuck in the train.
@Sergis: I really love you map and had rc1 on our server but maybe there is something wrong with HDR in rc2?
i'm a year late with this reply but i think Sergis blu himself
well fuck me with a rusty pitchfork
strange. when i turned on hdr i couldnt get it brighter than this ( until i set bloomscale to 50 thru console )
far less bright than what you have
aight, hdr has been toned down.I hope this is better
Still too bright. Even with HDR off its kinda bright? Maybe it is something to do with my settings?
Didnt have the problem on rc1 or any other map. I ll tell a friend to test it too to confirm it is no just me.
EDIT: From another user screenshots: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38605/namicott_rc3_scrnsts.rar
yeah im compiling rc4 with no hdr lightmaps
enough hdr for this map
Go to hell, HDR, and stay there.
I noticed the HDR thing too but I thought it was just my system. For some reaon, Harvest has been doing a thing in Linux where the HDR would get brighter and brighter over the course of a match. And I was in Linux during today's impromptu, so I took a screenshot and figured I'd try it out in Windows later.
