Just a little something I whipped up while mapping the other day. I needed some stairs in different parts of a map and thought a model would be easier to manipulate than a prefab.

I plan on making a bunch of models with a different number of stairs to accomodate different heights. Let me know what you think.

Nice model, but i think the colors are a bit too bright...

hm, i think you need more details like bolts, trims and stuff :)
and i definately wouldn't use such a transparent texture for the steps. just doesn't fit, imo. and if you just want it still, i'd use some trims like here:

    edit:
while i browsed the tf2-models i found stairs001a/b.mdl in props_trainyard folder which looks almost quite identically to your stairs. did you just retexture them ? cause that's not quite clear to me in your first post ?

I've already added more detail on my latest version which should spruce it up a bit. Not really what you had in your examples, but something that adds a little bit of character to them.

Although the models are somewhat similar I made mine from scratch. The models you are referring to have more stairs and are different in dimensions. After I've added more detail it'll be more than clear these are original.
