    Youme edit:

I've finished this request, you can download the model using the above link. Enjoy.

    Original post:

I have an intel room contest undergoing in my clan, and I was hoping that someone might be able to model the Golden Idol from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc for me. If everything works as planned, it'll have a giant rolling boulder and all of the other hazards. Here's A picture with several angles of the idol. [IMG]

Additionally, please don't judge me as a mooch for the first post of mine being a request.

I leave you tonight with 1 hour's progress, my first attempt at anything remotely like organic modelling. I hope you like the start. I'll make sure it's got a nice specular material so its nice and shiney too.

I may also experiment with doing a LOD model for it too. who knows what will happen!

Wow, thanks a lot Youme, that looks fantastic! I knew that sooner or later one of the 13,000 epople would actually reply... It's relatively small and is gonna be an intel replacement, so anywhere from around 20-40 units should be fine.

Considering the [ame="http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8545"]entire demographic of Africa[/ame] is browsing these forums... I'm surprised you've only gotten 13,000 hits.

    Lol Youme... awwwwnawwww?

Here it is ingame, next to the intel for comparison. it's 21x17x34 with the intel at 13x39x45

I'm going to look into a LOD model for it later so i wont dish over the files right away :p
I'd like to release it properly, FPSB an all if you don't mind, since I'm very proud of it :D

Looks good. I'm not sure how important it is to the poster... but this was a fertility idol.

The pics A Loaf of Bread used doesn't show it well. Here:
