@Katsu! :3 That's just how my relationship with TF2 mapping looks like - I try to craft something for 1-2 months nad then I leave for 2-3 years. Of course hopefully this time I'll stick to it.
I was told a few days ago my map is "not garbage". This is the happiest moment of my mapping "career" so far.

the things I treasure most in life cannot be taken away and will never be a reason why I will surrender to your advice, to change myself I'd rather die, though they will not understand, I will make the greatest sacrifice, you can't predict where the outcome lies, you'll never take me alive, I'm alive

and the world shines for me today. I'm alive - suddenly I'm here today. Feels like forever and a day, thought I could never feel this way. Is this really me? I'm alive, I'm alive!
Should I map or should I don't, if I know that the result won't satisfy anyone?

No map is satisfying from the start. You need 3 V's: VTESTS, VFEEDBACK, VIMPROVING

@Crowbar How can I be good level design if I suck at this game?

These are different skills. You can easily be bad at aiming, trick stabs or not a fast thinker, and still you can gain deep understanding of how the game and engine work, what's gonna happen here and there, and analyze feedback and demos
Is there anything more interesting than drawing official maps on paper in scale of 256hu:1cm? I'd recommend. Highly addictive job.

According to an earlier profile post, the only thing more interesting is analyzing other people's maps, lol.
