Hello.

Well this is my first thought about skecthup model that i plan to texture and turn into a model.

So this is it in sketchup what do you guys think?

To touch it up (alot) and export it i'll use blender and to texture i'll use photoshop cs4 extended using the 3d tool combined with the vmt tool ( i beleive this works).

I'll continue once my intrenet cools down. (Two pc's got vista (one repaired one upgraded from xp) so they've been using up alot.

I installed vista on my other two pc's and due to updating (i think) the intrenet appears to be going very slow.

So you think you can just download 3ds max and model? Its hard work, you should better try blender. And looking at your screens it looks like you are using a trial version of sketchup, so will you be using a trial version of 3ds max too? You wont have plenty of time to learn even the basics.

Yes, go with blender. Call me a cynic but somehow I don't think you're "downloading 3DS max 2010 and Photoshop cs4 (with 3d)" legally. Mainly because to do so would cost you $4,690 which is a pretty serious investment to be based on a "My first Sketchup Model"

So go with the free and amazing Blender and GIMP, so you can fully realize this, without the all the immoral implications.

Yes, 2.5 is srz bzns, have you used it Selentic? because most people try it, find it confusing, then leave. But the few who stick with it all notice each other in a room, they all know the secret.. :D
